Having done the steps above, a window opens that shows the layout generation process and job progress. When layout is finished a summary is presented for evaluation of the job. Rip or crosscut patterns or both can be specified. Turn options maintain grain direction or permit rotation in the cutting scheme. The cutting diagrams display the item dimensions, initial cutting lines, sheet size and trim cuts. These diagrams can be printed in either portrait or landscape mode and include the layout specific cut list along with all the cutting information such as material or thickness. Local or global notes can be attached to these drawings and selectable crosshatching further enhances the layout graphics. Main features include: costing information, printing stick-on labels, optional three phase and end cuts, sorting of mixed material jobs, optimum sheet selection, limit of sizes per sheet, up to six description fields, accounting for saw kerf, a parts multiplier and coding of like items. Standard Windows functionality provides for cut and paste and filing operations.
